"Warami mittigar" - Hello friend. We welcome you to Dharug Country
"Biimbiigang" - Greetings. We invite you to Gundungurra Country
Overlooking the Megalong Valley and Narrow Neck plateau, this Boars Head adventure involves descending part way down a large cliffline of the upper Blue Mountains in a series of stages or ‘pitches’. This four pitch expedition boasts some exciting abseiling and interesting traverses as you straddle and then descend into the massive chasm that forms the second and third pitches. Half way into the valley - still a long way above the ground - you will follow a skyline traverse on narrow ledges and interesting rock features back to the top. After lunch the adventure continues in the exciting and action packed Empress Falls Canyon. Scrambling, wading, swimming and jumping leads to a thrilling climax - an amazing 30 metre abseil straight down a pounding waterfall. The walk out is short and steep, 25 minutes up the stairs and you’re back at the carpark. An awesome experience that is suitable for those with previous abseiling experience and better than average fitness; and with extreme exposure to heights, make sure you ready yourself!

We believe our canyoning adventures are heaps of fun, and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible in the remote regions we explore. Our moderate canyoning adventures are for those with some previous canyoning, abseiling/climbing or hiking experience. Participants are required to have a good level of fitness. You are also required to have good mobility as we will be moving through uneven terrain in a remote environment. There is extended bushwalking during the day, including steep uphill sections. All participants are required to carry a backpack throughout the day that may be in excess of 10kg. Canyons may also involve swimming in cold water for prolonged periods of time. Want to know what’s involved in Dalpura? Do the names ‘Bunny Buckets’ or ‘Dirty Rotten Pig’ sound weird, but you’re still intrigued? Keen to explore Dargan’s, Birrabang, or Breakfast Creek? If you are looking for something specific - just ask!
