"Warami mittigar" - Hello friend. We welcome you to Dharug Country
"Biimbiigang" - Greetings. We invite you to Gundungurra Country
Kick off with a quick abseil in the afternoon sunlight at a spectacular abseiling site as a refresher to hone your technique and gain confidence for the challenge ahead! After an early dinner provided by an excellent local restaurant, put your skills to use in the Grand Canyon. The adventure starts with a downhill walk to where you will make an exciting entrance to the canyon, a 20 metre overhanging abseil. The beauty and serenity of this canyon will surprise you, with ferny glades and towering rock walls providing a spectacular setting all illuminated by the light of your torch. Scrambling, sliding, wading and swimming in huge chambers of Glow Worms as abundant as stars on a clear night. The walk out through temperate rainforest, culminates at Evans Lookout with a spectacular view of the Grose Valley in the moonlight. Keep an eye out for ring tailed possums, powerful owls and other creatures of the night as you walk. A unique canyoning experience with a night time finish.

We believe our canyoning adventures are heaps of fun, and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible in the remote regions we explore. Our moderate to challenging canyoning adventures are for those with previous canyoning, abseiling/climbing or hiking experience. Participants are required to have a high level of fitness and be experienced abseilers. You are also required to have good mobility as we will be moving through uneven terrain in a remote environment. There is extensive bushwalking during the day, including prolonged steep uphill sections. All participants are required to carry a backpack throughout the day that may be in excess of 10kg. Canyons may also involve swimming in cold water for prolonged periods of time. If you have any concerns about your suitability for this adventure, please contact our office.

We offer more adventure locations in the Blue Mountains than anyone else. The canyons and climbs of the Blue Mountains are many and varied. Ever heard of Du Faurs Creek? Want to know what’s involved in Dalpura? Do the names ‘Bunny Buckets’ or ‘Dirty Rotten Pig’ sound weird, but you’re still intrigued? Keen to explore Dargan’s, Birrabang, or Breakfast Creek? If you are looking for something specific - just ask!
