"Warami mittigar" - Hello friend. We welcome you to Dharug Country
"Biimbiigang" - Greetings. We invite you to Gundungurra Country
GRAND CANYON is fantastic canyon adventure for those new to canyoning however who do have some recent abseiling experience. The adventure through Grand Canyon is the perfect introduction to the beauty and excitement of canyoning. The adventure starts with a downhill walk to where you will make an exciting entrance to the canyon, via a 20 metre overhanging abseil. Followed by an obstacle course of scrambling over boulders and logs interspersed with swims and wading, the beauty and serenity of this canyon will surprise you, with ferny glades and towering rock walls providing a spectacular setting. The walk out takes about 45 minutes through temperate rainforest, finishing at Evans Lookout with a spectacular view of the Grose Valley.
NOTE: If you have not abseiled previously then please see our GRAND CANYON AND ABSEILING full-day adventure.

We believe our canyoning adventures are heaps of fun, and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible in the remote regions we explore. Our introductory to moderate canyoning adventures are for those with some previous experience in the outdoors. Abseiling experience is not essential, as we will teach these skills throughout the day. Participants are required to have a good level of fitness. You are required to have good mobility as we will be moving through uneven terrain in a remote environment. There is some extended bushwalking during the day, including some steep uphill sections. All participants are required to carry a backpack throughout the day that may weigh up to 10kg. Canyons may also involve swimming in cold water for prolonged periods of time. If you have any concerns about your suitability for this adventure, please contact our office.

We offer more adventure locations in the Blue Mountains than anyone else. The canyons and climbs of the Blue Mountains are many and varied. Ever heard of Du Faurs Creek? Want to know what’s involved in Dalpura? Do the names ‘Bunny Buckets’ or ‘Dirty Rotten Pig’ sound weird, but you’re still intrigued? Keen to explore Dargan’s, Birrabang, or Breakfast Creek? If you are looking for something specific - just ask!
