Explore the Blue Mountains in winter
Canyoning & walking adventures
Mountains are best enjoyed in winter.
Typically, clear, blue skies allow you to make the most of the views from the many vantage points, as you soak in the fresh, crisp air. Occasionally, a light dusting of snow adds that extra magical element to truly bring home that winter wonderland theme.
In general, the weather is stable and cold during winter in the Blue Mountains, with mists that usually lift throughout the day, a wonderful spectacle to keep you occupied while hiking a local trail.
Canyoning in the Blue Mountains also isn’t just for summer. In the winter you can head to our depths and explore some of the less travelled but equally spectacular ‘dry’ canyons. All equipment you need to keep you comfortable and safe are provided.
Families are also welcome, talk to our team about suitable options.
