Blue Mountains National Park Hikes
Located within the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Explore spectacular locations and make delightful discoveries. A great day out for anyone looking at exploring this breathtaking wilderness away from the highway and town centre. You will be taken to a suitable bush location in the Upper Blue Mountains, where you will enjoy a full day bushwalking experience. While wandering past some of the most spectacular lookouts the mountains have to offer, and your guide will share local secrets and interpret the unique environment for you. The location for this walk varies depending on participant experience, special interests, track closures and environmental conditions, but it is always in an area of spectacular beauty.

All BMAC full day participants receive a generous picnic lunch, provided by our local deli. Select one of their delicious, gourmet sandwich options when you book your trip. Altitude Deli can cater to most dietary requirements with notice, so please let us know of your needs as soon as possible.

While we encourage all participants to bring their own weather-appropriate clothing (see below), we have spare warm clothing and rain jackets if needed. We also provide you with a backpack and cover your National Parks and Wildlife Service park entry fee.
Things to bring
As a general rule we recommend:
- Comfortable clothes suited to the weather
- Enclosed shoes that you wear regularly. Your feet may get wet and muddy.
- Water bottle – at least 1.5 litres
- Personal medication (Ventolin/EpiPen etc.)
- Camera – there are some excellent photo opportunities along the way
We believe our bushwalking adventures are heaps of fun, and we want to ensure you have the best experience possible. It’s important to us that you have the fitness and skills to enjoy your time with us so please read on:
Fitness: For our 1 and 3 hour bushwalking experiences, participants require a low level of fitness. For longer walks, please call our office.
Mobility: Bushwalking participants will get the most out of their bushwalk with BMAC if they feel comfortable walking up and down stairs and on uneven ground.
