Flexible COVID related postponement terms

While there is an increasing flow of positive COVID-19 news with talk of vaccines, we’ve all had the rug pulled out from beneath us this past year so it is understandable to be feeling cautious when booking your Blue Mountains adventure tour.

You can rest easy as our flexible postponement terms below for COVID-19 impacted bookings will take the stress out of booking.

Our standard cancellation policy, as outlined in the our full terms and conditions states that the following fees apply on cancellation where your cancellation occurs within:

2 or more weeks from departure: no charge
8-14 days from departure: 25% of tour cost
3-7 days from departure: 50% of tour cost
Less than 3 days from departure – 100% of tour cost

COVID RELATED POSTPONEMENTS

If you are directly prevented from attending a booked trip, or we are unable to deliver the trip due to a COVID-19 Government restriction or official border closure, the following flexible postponement terms are available.

Your booking is initially placed on-hold for up to 3 months. Essentially your tour is postponed and the full tour cost is held in credit awaiting your advice of an alternative date once restrictions are hopefully relaxed.

Should the 3-month postponement period not allow a rescheduled return to the Blue Mountains, then your tour booking is officially cancelled and the full tour cost is held in credit via an official Blue Mountains Adventure Company gift voucher which is valid for up to three years from the date of the original booking. These gift vouchers are non-refundable although are 100% transferrable.

Should you prefer, at the time of postponement, to opt for the 3-year credit voucher you are welcome to make this request.

It's important to remember that all other terms and conditions remain applicable as per the full terms and conditions visible on our website and agreed to at the time of booking, including payment terms and cancellations for change of mind or any other reason apart from government restrictions which are associated with the pandemic.

Our Safety Record

We don’t cut corners on safety. Over and above our well-stocked and maintained first aid kits, we also carry extra safety gear such as bivvy bags and emergency sleeping bags; and our roping practices are designed to ensure the best outcome should a rescue or assist be required. You can be confident our guides are working hard to keep you safe.

No Hidden Extras

Our adventures are all inclusive. All adventures include licenses, equipment, professional guides and everything else you need for an action packed adventure. All you have to bring is suitable clothing, comfortable enclosed footwear, a water bottle and a camera to capture the day. And if you don’t have any of the necessary clothing we’ll happily provide you with the basics at no additional cost.
