Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Promotion Period: The competition commences on 20 October 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 13 November 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
3. The Promoter: Blue Mountains Adventure Company (“Promoter”) located at 26 Parke Street, Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia.
4. Eligibility: Entry is open to all individuals aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and agents associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. How to Enter:
- a. Entrants must submit a name suggestion for the Promoter’s new four-canyon adventure either:
  - via the entry form provided on the Promoter’s official website; or
  - by commenting their suggestion on the Promoter’s official competition social media post.
- b. Each valid entry must include the entrant’s full name and contact details (if entering via form).
- c. Multiple entries are accepted.
6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
8. Judging: This is a game of skill, not chance. The winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, and relevance of the name suggestion as judged by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Prize:
- a. The winning entrant will receive one (1) prize for two (2) people — the winner and a guest — to join the inaugural departure of the Promoter’s new adventure.
- b. Each trip is valued at AUD $345 per person (AUD $690 total).
- c. The prize does not include airfares, insurance, accommodation, meals (unless specified), or transfers to and from the Blue Mountains Adventure Company office in Katoomba.
- d. Prize travel must be booked and undertaken by 31 December 2025 and is subject to availability.
- e. The inaugural departure date is subject to the trip being confirmed to run. The exact date will be advised by the Promoter once the trip is scheduled and confirmed.
10. The winner will be announced by 30 November 2025 and notified via email or direct message (depending on entry method). The winner’s name will be published on the Promoter’s website and/or official social media channels.
11. If the prize is not claimed by 7 December 2025, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next best valid entry as determined by the judges.
12. Prize Conditions:
- a. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or any other product or service.
- b. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
- c. The winner and their guest must be aged 18 years or over at the time of travel and will be required to sign the standard participant waiver and trip conditions.
13. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any cost, expense, loss or damage whatsoever (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury or property damage which is suffered or sustained as a result of participating in the promotion or accepting the prize.
14. The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including prize suppliers. Entry is conditional upon providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, entrants agree that the Promoter may use the information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, including electronic messages. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
